Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to a few Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the role of actress Savitri. There were three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. She also received a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her first acting experience began in the early 2000s. Her debut lead role in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and was signed to appear in several Tamil films at the same time. While the film did not do well in the theaters the film she made her debut in is A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005), which she starred in alongside Vikramprabhu. In order to fit in more ambitious projects, she needed to pull out of films she had started working on. This include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. Then, she worked on Rajini Murugan's Remo with two short films. Also, Dhanush and she played leading roles in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. While the date for release of Janakitho Nenu is not yet confirmed, there is speculation that it may be in September 2020. In the year 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa with actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan. In 2017, she also made appearances in Tamil films Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local.
